S2 E1 Hospitality, Geez and Antonio Cosme

Geez Magazine joins Uproar alongside author and activist Antonio Cosme in a recognition of European Americans’ strange arrival and destructive presence on these lands. Plus an exploration of opening spaces to strangers in need through radical hospitality.

Antonio is “an xicanx boricua writer, educator, artist, bee keeper and farmer from Southwest, Detroit.”

Geez is “a quarterly, non-profit, ad-free, print magazine about social justice, art, and activism for people at the fringes of faith in both Canada and the US. Geez is for the over-churched, out-churched, un-churched and maybe even the un-churchable.”

This speaker series is a part of Motor City Wesley’s Motor City Villages project in partnership with the Forum for Theological Exploration.
